David J. Clark

David J. Clark joined the Office of the Vice President for Legal Affairs in November 2023. Prior to joining the University, David worked in private practice at Jenner & Block LLP in New York. There, his practice focused on assisting clients through all stages of civil litigation, principally in complex commercial disputes in a wide range of industries, and counseling clients in navigating state and federal regulatory regimes. 

 David received his bachelor’s degree from Truman State University in 2014 and his doctor of jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School in 2018. Following law school, David served as a law clerk to the Honorable Duane Benton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
