Esteban Soto

Esteban Soto joined the Office of the Vice President of Legal Affairs in August 2022. Prior to joining the University, Esteban served in various roles at the Texas Attorney General’s Office, including Chief of the Transportation Division and Deputy Chief of the General Litigation Division. At the Attorney General’s Office, Esteban’s practice focused on civil litigation matters involving employment law, constitutional law, civil rights, and eminent domain law. Previously, Esteban also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. 

Esteban received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University in 2004 and his doctor of jurisprudence degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2007.
